Shipping & insurance

Every piece goes out fully insured, signature-required, and trackable end-to-end. You'll know where your jewellery is at every step.

Shipping cost

  • Free shipping above ₹5,000. Standard insured delivery, anywhere in India.
  • ₹250 below ₹5,000. Fixed flat rate, also fully insured.
  • International: not currently supported. Customers outside India: please WhatsApp us for a special-arrangement quote.

Carriers

We dispatch via dedicated jewellery couriers — typically Sequel Logistics for high-value pieces and Bluedart Securepost for everything else. Both services include:

  • Full insurance for the value of the piece (covered by us, no premium charged to you).
  • Signature required on delivery, ID-verified.
  • Live tracking with real-time SMS / WhatsApp updates.
  • Tamper-evident packaging.
  • No carrier branding on the parcel — discreet white box.

Delivery time

  • Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh: 2 – 4 business days.
  • Rest of India (metro cities): 3 – 5 business days.
  • Rest of India (other locations): 5 – 7 business days.
  • Custom-made / pre-order: production lead time + the above.

Festival seasons and the wedding season (October to February) can add a day or two. We'll always email you the expected delivery date with the tracking link, and we'll WhatsApp on the day of delivery to confirm someone will be home to receive.

What's in the parcel

Every shipment contains:

  • The piece, in a Sri Cauvery Jewellers premium box.
  • The BIS hallmark certificate for the gold.
  • The IGI / GIA grading certificate for any diamonds above 0.30 ct.
  • The GST tax invoice.
  • Care & cleaning instructions.
  • A polishing cloth.

Receiving your shipment

On delivery, the courier will ask for your government photo ID (the same one you used at checkout) and your signature. If you won't be home, you can:

  • Reschedule via the SMS link the courier sends.
  • Request a hold-at-branch — we'll WhatsApp you the address.
  • Authorise a family member to receive on your behalf — let us know in advance and bring a copy of your ID.

We strongly recommend opening the parcel on camera — a quick phone recording of you opening the seal — for any piece above ₹1,00,000. In the very rare case of damage or tampering, this recording is the cleanest proof for an insurance claim.

If something goes wrong

WhatsApp us immediately. We've never lost a shipment in two decades of in-store and online business, but the insurance is there for a reason. We'll handle the claim with the carrier and ship a replacement piece while it's processed.
